So long Summer | September 23, 2015

Although Summer is officially over with Fall setting in on September 21st, it’s still my favorite season, so believe me that I held on to the very last drop! Now Fall and our 2015/16 season is underway. Students are pouring back through our doors, greeted by returning and new faculty and an energized staff from vacations and a spiffed up building thanks to our Operations Manager Sara Roer, staff members and the fantastic volunteers from Houlihan-Lokey!

We have a lot to share with you this year. If you are a parent, spend a little time on our website and see if one of our other programs or workshops might be right FOR YOU at youth.bax.org! If you have a business and believe in what we do, ask Fernando (Marketing & Communications Director) about business partnerships at fernando@bax.org. For artists who have participated in the Undoing Racism Workshop through the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond and are motivated to continue understanding and undoing racism in their artistic practice and life, BAX is hosting monthly ACRE (Artists Co-Creating Racial Equality) meetings 10/11 and 11/8. Also make sure to open your calendar and SAVE THE DATE – SATURDAY APRIL 9, 2016 – A CELEBRATION OF TWENTY FIVE YEARS OF TEACHING & LEARNING!

See you all around the BAX building,
Marya
